The Kansas Highway Patrol conducted a traffic stop on SB I-35 just south of our city. Based on the Trooper’s observations and questioning, they requested I respond. K9 Sysko alerted to both front wheel wells. We pulled out the plastic liner around the well to discover two hidden compartments. We cut out 1 inch thick bondo and found 44 bundles of cash, approximately 440,000 dollars. It was suspected that the driver brought cocaine in those compartments and they repacked them with the cash to head back south. Sysko nailed it!
